A classic leather cheek riser that stays put - and keeps your ammo in.

Style & protection, without functional compromise.

Drag the slider left or right to see how it'll look on a good ol' classic lever action. We're certain you won't be disappointed with our classic stained vintage tan color, and we got jet black available for synthetic stocks. Left handed builds also available on request.

Why It Won't Slip

Most wrap-style risers shift because there is nothing anchoring the rear. Ours includes a stitched-on butt-end pad that grips the stock, plus a 5-hole lace system that lets you tension the wrap evenly.

Ammo Loops That Actually Hold

We build the loops to hold cartridges snug. The loop spacing and stitch pattern matter: done wrong, ammo falls out as you walk. Our loops are stitched and spaced to stay secure when moving through brush or handling the rifle at the range. Leather also breaks in over time, so loading becomes smoother while retention stays reliable.

Fit and Compatibility (Rifles)

Designed for classic hunting rifles: fits many bolt-action and traditional lever-action stocks. Common customer fits include classic lever rifles such as Henry Big Boy and Winchester 1894 style rifles, plus many traditional hunting stocks. [DOES NOT FIT MONTE-CARLO/ENCORE STOCK DESIGNS]

Will it slip under recoil?

It is designed to stay put. The stitched butt-end pad (with grippy microfiber surface) and the 5-hole lace system help prevent creeping.

Does it change my sight picture?

The cheek pad adds about 10 mm / 0.39 in (about 3/8 in) of lift. It is subtle - intended for comfort and a more consistent cheek weld, not a dramatic height change.

Will the ammo fall out of the loops?

The loops are stitched and spaced to hold cartridges snug. Leather breaks in over time for smoother loading while keeping secure retention.

What rifles does it fit?

It fits many bolt-action and classic lever-action stocks. Check customer photos for real examples. It won't fit Monte-Carlo or Encore rifle stocks, please get in touch with us via email for a custom build if you got one of those. (support@rusticterrain.com)

How do I choose left vs right-handed?

Choose based on the shoulder you shoot from. Right-handed places loops on the right side facing outward; left-handed is mirrored.

I can't find my cartridge on the list - what should I do?

Email support@rusticterrain.com and we will confirm fit if possible. We update the list over time.

100% Handmade, piece by piece

Every single one of our product is handmade from scratch. We do the design, cutting, tooling, dying, stitching, fitting, all on our own.

Explore Our Craft
  • Durability

Hand-sewn stitching, using the double-needle technique, ensures unparalleled strength. Even if one stitch breaks, the remaining ones hold firm, unlike machine stitching, which can unravel completely if a single thread is compromised.

  • Precision

Our attention to detail allows us to craft products that perfectly fit the dimensions and requirements of each knife, delivering both functionality and beauty.

  • Texture

Handmade leather tooling allows for more control over pressure and angles, creating deeper texture and shading. This results in a more 3D effect, with raised areas and varying impressions that give the design a dynamic, lifelike quality.
