I rescued in 1975 Marlin 336A lever action chambered in 3030 from the used section of a local gun shop. I saw Rustic Terrain’s cartridge holder/butt cover on Facebook and instantly knew I needed it for the build. The leather and craftsmanship of the buttock cover is what you want for an heirloom quality firearm because it’s an heirloom accessory to go with it. I finished the gun with a Leopold scope and now it’s kind of the only gun you would ever need. It will be wonderful to pass down to my son.

I was extremely satisfied with the butt stock cheek riser that I ordered. I must say that the biggest plus for me was the customer service provided by Alan at Rustic Terrain. Turns out, it was actually upgraded to a material that was specifically requested by professional shooters to improve performance.
